EXTENSION CARE
Most importantly, use an extension safe brush with soft, flexible bristles.

Take care when detangling. Avoid yanking or pulling - brush from the bottom to the top.

Do not leave your hair wet in a ponytail or bun because it will crimp the hair. Braids are fine.

Do not color your own hair at home. Drugstore brands contain chemicals that can damage the extensions.

Use oil on the ends of your hair every day. Especially on the hair by the nape that tends to tangle.

Do not use products with keratin, bond builders or alcohol in them.

Use braids instead of ponytails to relieve pressure on install.

If going into the pool or ocean, be sure to wet hair and add conditioner, then braid hair. Wash and condition afterwards and style as usual.

When done with the water activities, wash, detangle and dry your hair.

When sleeping, use silk pillow cases or a bonnet to reduce friction and damage.

Use a heat protectant before styling.

The less heat styling - the better. Opt for heat-free styling such as foam rollers as often as you can.

Choose the right sunscreen. Chemicals like avobenzone, oxybenzone, and octocrylene can interact with hair extensions under sunlight and cause discoloration. Opt for one that protects your hair and skin by choosing a mineral based sunscreen that contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide
